In addition to active promotion with the web portal, TICINO A TE encourages the distribution of local products through outlets that can be found in the area. The La Bottega, Case and Dispense project is an emblematic example. The newborn ‘Self-service‘ project is also part of this proximity strategy. These new opportunities all pursue the same objective: enhancing and promoting Ticino’s local produce and safeguarding the region’s food and wine tradition.

Other forms of area promotion
La Casa del territorio (The Area House) generally represents a single supply chain (e.g. La Casa del vino – The House of wine) and offers exclusively products of the local food and wine culture. La Dispensa is located within a food shop and therefore has a more limited assortment than La Bottega. The sales outlets clearly acknowledge their own identity concept.
