The morning will begin with a guided walk by an expert guide who will tell us about the hidden treasures of the bustling city of Locarno, before we immerse ourselves in the agricultural part of the region. After a ride on the \u201cFoliage Train\u201d (Vigezzina-Centovalli railway) we will arrive in Intragna where we will visit the village with the highest bell tower in Ticino. We will then get back on the little train and travel to Cavigliano. Following a lovely walk through the chestnut forest, we will reach Agarta farm. Pascal, the farm\u2019s owner, adopts a philosophy of promoting his farming business by working for maximum momentum while trying to have the utmost respect for the environment. We will discover the orchard, the vineyard and the animals, hear interesting stories from farmhands and visit the farm\u2019s energy point. Lastly, we will have the opportunity to taste some local produce, with a farmhand\u2019s lunch, all washed down with organic house wine, before returning to Locarno. A day dedicated to the urban areas and agriculture in the region.<\/p>\n
